Websites for Law Firms
I was approached recently by a law firm that wanted a website - this led me to think about a new venture, could I build websites for law firms and was there enough of a market for it here in the UK ?
A quick search in Google (http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1T4SUNA_enGB258GB259&q=websites+for+law+firms&btnG=Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB)showed that the competition was not going to be too bad with only 70,000 results in the UK for that search so I started to look around.
However, I fairly quickly realised that the competition for websites for law firms included firms such as CLT totalSOLUTION who seem to have a large firm backing them and can provide all sorts of articles and other services to legal firms in England. While I can build the sites I think that it would be too much of an investment to have to try and source the articles from third parties (and being for solicitors I would think that these articles would have to be extremely accurate).
So... that's another idea that is not worth following - maybe the next idea will be the one to make my fortune.
