I've been looking at the possibility of buying an interactive whiteboard for the company I work for so that we can convert our meeting room into a joint meeting and training room.
Having had some experience with these boards at the college I was very aware of the problems of working too close to the board and the funny tricks it can play with your eyes.
Looking on MSN I found a company based in Newton Abbot in Devon (of all places) that provide advice to anyone that is thinking of buying one of these white boards. The Stock Answer has an installation team that will fit the equipment for you and they seem to be able to cope with meeting rooms, class rooms and lecture theatres. I'm going to give them a call on Monday and see if they can help - the only problem I can see is that they are several hours drive away and it would take up two days of an engineers time to get here and then back again. Maybe they can recommend someone more local to Peterborough.
